Cassie is a very unique animal. She was bred by Billy Rayas, the result of a brother sister mating linebred on Gr. Ch. STP's Lukane, ROM, a Mayday son and being strong in Jocko, Redboy and Yellow blood. She is a very sound animal, verified by OFA health certification. Shown very sparingly she obtained all but one major for her UKC conformation championship.

Cassie was raised and trained by Leri Hanson (California) and taken to her world's first title for an American pit bull, the coveted French Ring 3 title. As well, she earned her U-CDX obedience title, a UKC rally title and her CGC. In 2011 Leri and Cassie won the Working Pit Bull Terrier Club of America "National Champion" title.  In 2009 this team was also Vice-Champion of the Western Zone of the North American Ring Assocation French Ring I level. All pit bull owners owe Leri and Cassie a debt of gratitude for "representing" the American pit bull so well as a serious working breed.

Now at five years of age Cassie is a member of Boldog Kennel and in training for her IPO titles.  We look forward to breeding her to some outstanding working dogs of equal merit to produce superior pups for ourselves and a few others interested in serious foundation stock.

Cassie is a bitch with a real sense of humor, very busy, very responsible around other dogs unless challenged and sound with people and kids. She is far more "handler hard" than any other game bred pit bull I have seen. I really enjoy having Cassie here, she's a kick, and constantly tries to take my shoes and socks off.  We got her pregnant in fall 2013, but unfortunately lost the litter due to an accident the night my mother died. She is being bred spring of 2014. See the Upcoming Breeding page.
