It was a tough decision to make K9 X-Dog one of my foundation bitches, due to her lack of registration papers. It's not a step I recommend for any but the most experienced breeders. But, after seeing X-Dog, the decision was simple. She was simply the most extraordinary pit bull bitch I'd seen. And I'd seen a lot of pit bull bitches. The decision was made to breed a "test litter" using her and Boldog Dirk for the state patrol to try out a puppy program. Two pups were selected for training by the WSP, unfortunately one developed orthopedic issues at 10 months which required euthanasia, but the other pup is still working as a narcotics detection dog with the Washington State Patrol K9 unit. Her other pups have gone on to be outstanding sport dogs.
